Beach Run

We took our ultra-lite 5×10 Bend Teadrop Camper to the Oregon Coast this weekend spending three nights at Beverly Beach State Park. Beverly Beach is located perfectly between our two favorite beaches to Surf, Otter Rock and Agate. Both beaches are dog and kid friendly and offer protection Coastal winds with south facing cliffs. These cliffs create a nice micro climate almost every time we go (which is a lot) we seem to have great weather and this weekend was no exception. The sun was shining, breeze was light and the water was unseasonably warm. I surfed all day without booties which are usually always needed on the Oregon Coast.

We easily and quickly pulled into our campsite popped the galley hood and we were camping. It got a bit chilly in the evenings but we slept comfortably in our fully insulated Bend Teardrop Camper. I made fresh squeezed margaritas in the Teardrop Galley Kitchen while my wife cooked up an amazing open fire Seafood Paella with chicken, chorizo, fresh scallops, shrimp and oysters. Got to say it might have been the best camp meal ever (and we camp a lot). We like to do up our meals on our camp trips since Teardroping is the easiest way to camp it frees up time to go crazy on meal prep.
