We took our custom 5×8 Teardrop to Beaverly Beach State Park last week for a 3 day camping mission. When we pulled up to the camp site the paved driveway was too small to fit the trailer and truck. Luckily our Teardrop is ultra light, I moved it by hand to a nice flat and shady spot in the back of the campsite freeing up the paved area for our car and kids to rally their bikes. After that I popped the galley hood and we were instantly camping in style.
I highly recommend Beaverly State Beach for grear family camping on the Oregon Coast. Perfectly situated between to great surfing beaches (Agate Beach to the south and Otter Rick to the north) Beaverly is a safe, well maintained park with showers, hiking trails, natural museum/visitor center and even an amphitheater.
Our little Teardrop was right at home at the Park. We slept peacefully in the Cabin on the queen sized bed and awoke every morning to a plethora or birds singing in the bushes surrounding our secluded sight.
